Players are selected to the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas by the Shrine Bowl coaching staff. The rosters for the Shrine Bowl are released in October. Each team consists of 40 of the best players from each state. Shriners are not involved in player selection.
Each spring, the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas holds a series of combines located at high schools across the Carolinas. The purpose of the Shrine Bowl Combines are to provide an opportunity for high school football players to demonstrate the skills needed for athletic scholarships and possible Shrine Bowl selection.
The combines are open to all rising 12th graders that attend North Carolina High School Athletic Association member schools.
(To be filled out by head football coaches only.)
